YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, view and share videos. Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals. In some cases, the message "This video is not available in your country" may appear because of copyright restrictions or inappropriate content.

Flickr is an image and video hosting website and web services suite that was created by Ludicorp in 2004. and acquired by Yahoo on 20. March 2005. Users may label their uploaded images with titles and descriptions, and images may be tagged either by the uploader or by other users. Flickr provides both private and public image storage. A user uploading an image can set privacy controls that determine who can view the image.

Twitter is an online social networking service and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets". Unregistered users can read tweets, while registered users can post tweets through the website interface, SMS, or a range of apps for mobile devices. Twitter Inc. is based in San Francisco, with additional servers and offices in New York City, Boston, and San Antonio.

Panoramio is a geolocation-oriented photo sharing website. Accepted photos uploaded to the site can be accessed as a layer in Google Earth and Google Maps, with new photos being added at the end of every month. Panoramio was started in the summer of 2005 by Joaquín Cuenca Abela and Eduardo Manchón Aguilar. It was officially launched on October 3, 2005. On October 5, 2016, Google informed Panoramio users that they had decided to close down Panoramio on November 4, 2016.
